The National Skills Academy for Creative & Cultural operates as an industry-led membership organisation. Its main aim is to develop the delivery of industry-approved standards, training and related skills through a network of creative and cultural employers and education and training providers.

From its main business of teaching has sprung a vibrant extra curricular scene including the Theatre on the Hill, which runs several professional standard musicals every academic year, Sham Records, the College’s own record label which releases the music students’ work and the fully functioning beauty salon in Flackwell Heath.
